The Mission

It is the purpose of Heresy Horses to rescue slaughter bound horses with few [if any] injuries, infirmities, training or behavioral issues and place them with responsible owners capable of providing them with suitable homes.

"She's got horses in her blood." Growing up in Texas it was obvious early on that Julie would spend her life pursuing her passion for horses. For the last ten years this has involved pulling hundreds of horses out of the Sugar Creek kill pens and finding them good homes. Julie has placed horses in homes from Minnesota to Florida.
